I find it hard to believe that you measured and found a 10mm difference from outside to inside diameter. This thing isn't that thick.
They came in 2 different sizes depending oupon the year I believe. I think the 91 and later were larger and te others were smaller or something like that. I...
I am running the 90mm Q45TB with the gt4067r turbo
.....DON'T sell this unit. I have great throttle response, and also have 720 cc injectors, Crower 272 cams and a forged internals, and eagle rods. Powered by a wolf v500 ECU. Test runs soon to be made
From what I saw that Chevelle was getting his ass haNded to him. He left before the supra and was reeled in and had the nerve to say his launch was off with no traction. He then began asking for 2-3 car lengths to get an edge. That race was a joke. He had already lost if you consider he was...
Man Ian I couldn't agree more with this statement. I also think that people need to respect other people with less knowledge than you. Also I think that people without a clue should be moderated on the info that they pass when its an opinion and not a fact. I also think that certain clicks form...
I like this analogy Jake, great explanation for a lay man like me. I have at least a 3.0-3.1litre intake and a set of BC275 cams and a .060 over bored block with 9:1 pistons;) along with a gt4067r. What rpm do you think this setup should peak at?
Also how many times has that fly wheel been cut, and most importantly was it resurfaced. I was told by a cluctch mfg that cutting a fly wheel too many times takes away from the clutch effectiveness to clamp and you may need thicker buttons to compensate for the material lost from many resurfaces!
The plunger will open if you are in cold winters like I have in NY, or when the engine is cold. Mine idled high until the tb heated up from driving. The small screw also adjust idle adjustment Ron. This adjust how far the buterfly opens also. When this and the screw on the throttle linkage are...
Adjust the little screw in the front with the nut while it is cold. You want to get idle to lower correct. No matter if you really want it to work hooking up the water lines is what makes them work perfectly. The heat from collant causes the plunger to close when it heats up to a certain temp.
Perma cool works but the partd are cheap and flimsy. I broke 2 before retiring them permanently. The mocal H adapter is nice but it is cast and can break also. I bought the Earls 501erl from Summit, which is made of solid machined aluminum. My dual adapter is a machined aluminum piece from...
The little screw in the front with the nut helps adjust idele speed. Also the screw with the spring on the butterfly also has a part iin it. The smaller screw by loosening it will lower idle speeed I think. The coolant lines when hooked up will allow the car to idle properly when it gets hot...
