My 89 NA broke down again, told needs new engine

that's advertised yes. I tend to not believe everything I read though. However, I've heard that the reason they supposedly have these "low miles" is that they sit around for years. Doesn't sound like anything I would pay extra for personally, but do your own thing. I still see it as being...

A BUNCH of old Supra Articles!! (56k...NO!!)

lol. there's a lot of detail in the pic, it's not as simple as changing a "toon"s color. I am not guarnteed to make enough sales to warrant that kind of work :) People say they're going to buy all the time, and a lot of them don't, so you see my dilemma

My 89 NA broke down again, told needs new engine

bleh. I am all about JDM badging and whatnot, I have my own set of JDM only badges. But why waste your $ on the shipping from Japan on the same engine you can get here? All M engines are "JDM" technically. Common sense > *

My 89 NA broke down again, told needs new engine

lol. I dont know why everyone is always so quick to throw "go buy a JDM 7M" into these kinds of threads. What is the diff? Is there even one besides that one is being shipped directly from Japan? There's tons of fine 7Ms right here in the US. The "low mileage" JDM engines are such bullshit.

Quick Q: How to remove stock oil filter?

I have a horrible habit of not changing the oil filter at "3,000 miles" as "specified". I've never had any oil related engine failures, but perhaps that's why it's difficult for me to remove (along with the fact I'm a weak girly girl)

Quick Q: How to remove stock oil filter?

Quick Q: How to remove stock oil filter?

I have always tightened mine with my hand as well, and taken off with the wrench, as I can't even undo my own work after 3+ months of being driven on

Quick Q: How to remove stock oil filter?

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh even if you put them on by hand (which most usually do) they still SHOULD be taken off with oil filter wrenches, as they bake themselves on over time, and are a huge PITA to get off otherwise. Hubby used to work at an oil change, and they did this shit day in and...
