autometer's rock... they have expensive nice guages and they have cheaper ricer guages...... just buy the right ones. I bought boost and a/f gauges from that company A Long time ago, the boost gauge was accurate but the lights went out and they essentially became useless after about 2 months...

my friend has them on his wrx..... they are nice but they are totally dark when off and light with power. they are fine in the daytime but bright as hell at night, and its kind of annoying...... they do not have a dim feature, we put some 20% tint on my friends and they are decent at night now...

if you are planning on a full build: Rods, pistons, arp, MHG, etc. Go with the 7m its much easier to source parts. and will be much stronger than a stock 1j, if you want to fully build a 1j than buy a 2j instead. Either way if you want to do it right you will need some $$$. Btw: your not going...
