hahahaha MERRY CHISTMAS!!!!
my 1J received an aristo ecu, aristo harness, 440 injectors, and a tial wastegate. he will soon be happy and not sick in the garage
things on the way for my supe's xmas
Aristo ECU
Aristo Harness
440's
and Tial wastegate
things still needed
7M compressor top plate to have working A/C
and a good working stock shifter
Anyone ever done this before? any write ups? I have looked on google yahoo SM SF and Toyota Nation and can't find any info...
Tissimo and I are pretty confident that it'll be fairly easy but we were wondering about the Hydro fan ecu being tied into it. I know aristo's had hydro fans so I...
bought a targa shell :( POOOOOOOP
other than that i think everything else has been fine.
oh and used 1300$ insurance claim to buy a single turbo kit instead of a HT sunroof shell :(
i have owned both. 86.5 HT and an 88 targa (current) and i have been in 3 of tissimo's cars with targas off and mine with the targa off and my buddy's with the targa off. i hate it. i'm mad that i bought a targa shell.
even with the top on you can feel it flex and creak and moan and groan. i...
correct
basically they are taking the 7M lower manifold runners and mating them to the 2J upper runner with some grinding cutting and welding.
psychotic is right though. the 7M stock manifold will be fine to the 500-550hp mark
i'd either get a clip from DM or a motorset from JHOT jhotimports dot com
i got my COMPLETE motorset from them for 1940 shipped. and i didn't have to put too much on top of it to get it all running.
if you get a motor set for 800 you'll need
800 longblock
1J ecu's are HARD to come by...
sweet man looks good i got a Garrett 60-1 as well with a .68 T4 housing. i'm interested to see what you get out of it.
keep us updated and GET TO THE DYNO!!!!! :)
its wired up for a pre 89 supra. its in my 88 right now.
i'd be looking for like something around 375-400 shipped considering its a plug n play harness for a pre 89 1J car. i need the money to buy the Aristo ECU and harness.
PM if you are interested.
9 times out of 10 when you buy a replacement starter it will come with motor and solenoid. i'd just replace it all. why not?
starter isn't hard at all. on my 7M it took me about an hour and that was doing ALL the work from the top, which was a PITA!!!
damn 420 on stock twins is REDICULOUS!!!! hahaha
my buddy just did 320whp on stock twins
i never dyno'd mine cause they were smoking and they just suck lol. so i went single and im working out bugs for now
