I just installed my lexus afm, walbro 255fuel pump, new fuel filter, and 550 injectors. Got it all on and cranked the car up. It is running rich, and my question is this. I have to drive it to the dyno about an hour away. Is it going to hurt it to drive it that far? I dont know how rich it is...

I didnt think insurance companies would sell you your car back, because they were trying to get rid of cars with salvage titles. My brother wrecked his celica and the insurance company would not sell it to him. Just my two cents worth. Really hate it for you man. I'd still be crying.

Just for the record, I don't think my turbo is too loud. I just didn't think that it sounded RIGHT. It's probably the larger turbo. With the stock turbo I would only hear the bov when it released the air. Now I hear air continuously while the turbo is spooling. I hope that it isn't anything...

All that, that you said makes you sound even smarter. You could probably say "I just farted" and it would sound smart. That's just my opinion though. I am glad that you own a supra and that you dont mind offering some sound advice from time to time. lol.

I had the same hks intake on it that I had on my stock turbo. I just put on a lexus afm with a cone filter today. I dont think that it is TOO loud for me, I just want to make sure that there isnt something wrong. I'm way too cautious I guess. How do you do a test for boost leaks? thanks.

I just replaced my stock turbo with a Garrett TO4e. I dont ever remember hearing my stock turbo. This Garrett sounds like I have a bad boost leak, cause everytime it kicks in I hear air, but the car runs good. Am I just hearing the turbo or could it be a boost leak? Would the car still run with...

Shaeff, if I dont get the afpr then I'll be running to rich. So I'm buying the fpr to lower my fuel pressure and not increase it. I would have never thought that. Thanks for everyones help...lol

Sorry guys, but what is an afr? I do have a safcii. That's what I tune it with when it's on the dyno.
