Ndboost, I'll go try it right now. The motor should be cool enough for me to try and move it. Even if it's hot, I'll just act like Chuck Norris and feel no pain....lol
I just installed my new blow off valve and it still doesn't seem to be spooling good. I did hear it discharge, but the gauge only read about one max. It never felt like it got a boost though. I mean the car never accelerated faster. I could just be used to driving mine. My car is a little faster...
Yeah, it's the EGR system, but I dont know how to fix it. The manual tells you to check EGR valve and hose. I'm going to try that first, but I've replaced about every hose I can get to with new ones already.
Has anyone had codes 34 and/ or 71? I just did a diagnostic check and that's what came up. If you've had this problem, what did you do to fix it? Thanks. I'll try and start troubleshooting later on this afternoon if their are no suggestions. Mucho gracias for the spanish speaking amigos.
I did check the oil and coolant before I started it. I didn't want them trying to fix it because it took them five months to install a stock motor. I did get a three year unlimited mileage warranty out of it, but their not going to touch it again unless the motor locks up in it. I'll check the...
Second video rules........the music was a little heavier than I usually listen to, but I liked it. Someone needs to do a video with Linkin Park playing in the background..........just my two cents worth.
Sorry Joel, I didn't see the other question. I haven't checked it out about the codes. It was dark when I got it home. I will check tomorrow and find out. Hopefully it isn't anything too major. The car drove perfect coming home, except for the turbo/na thing.
That's what I intend on doing tomorrow. I know the turbo is good, because I took it off of my car and then had one built for mine. I installed a Garrett to4e on my 91, but the turbo from my car ran great. Thanks Joel, and for IJ, I have already proof read this for spelling mistakes........lol
I just got my wifes car from the shop today. They've had it for almost five months. I don't even make it out of the parking lot and the check engine light comes on. I didn't care, I was taking it home. When I get on the highway I give it a little throttle and the boost gauge goes from negative...
Does it just go to the bottom ic pipe and connect there or does it go to the intercooler? Can you make one that will do away with the 3000 pipe? Thanks.
I know you wouldn't drive while impaired, because let's face it, who want to try and find more parts to put your car back together? Keep it between the ditches.........lol
I agree with clifftrail. If yours is modded and you didn't blow him away he had a few mods also. I've raced a handful of gts and haven't come close to losing yet. Good kill, but when it's your turn to drive, one or two may be too many. Just my two cents worth.............lol..
I have just read this entire thread. I agree with you some boost fiend. Sometimes people are a little harsh on here, but two of my favorite people on here are IJ and JetJock. They are two of the most knowlegeable (if that is spelled wrong I apologize IJ) people on here and they have both helped...
