I'm not positive, but I think that I read on here somewhere to gap them to .028.......That's what mine are gapped to right now, or at least they were when I put them in there..................good luck.
At the risk of being flamed for posting a bad answer, I'd say it is definately a boost leak. Have you checked all of your hoses? Check the one from the turbo to your intercooler. I blew that hose off of mine three times before I bought some good couplings and clamps from BigAaron. I also had a...
Well I guess no one knew the answer. I have finally stumped SM. Either that or you all have a life and you're actually out doing something on a Saturday night. No, not me, I'm out underneath my car trying to get it back together.
The answer to my question is, Tighten the S.O.B. down until it...
Should the new aluminum flywheel be hard to get on? I have an auto and I'm doing a 5 speed swap. Is the crank any different diameter? It may sound stupid, but the aluminum flywheel is very tight and I didn't want to hurt anything. I've put the bolts in to try and pulll it on, but it is extremely...
I don't see how going to a synthetic oil or transmission fluid can be detrimental to the life of the car. What is in syntheic fluids that will harm the car? I'm not doubting you, but what is the logic behind this statement. I also think I read where MDCMotorsports said the same...
Thanks Yellow, the one by the black box is the one giving me fits. I may need a smaller ratchet. The 3/8/ extention I'm using doesn't fit through there very well. I'll try a 1/4" extention and see if that helps.
Thanks to everyone for responding, it's pretty amazing to me, the diversity we have going. All different in many ways, except for our love for supras.
Roy, try working on your 4th job a little more every now and then.
Shaeff, I knew you were nothing but honest. Wouldn't have it any other...
I just put a new front and rear seal in my wife's auto tranny. I then filled it up with synthetic tranny fluid. Should I drain it and go back to regular transmission fluid? I've had enough problems without tearing it up because of the fluid I put in it. Thanks.
I don't drink, so I wouldn't know...........Is it hard to work around liquor all night and not open a bottle. I'm not implying that you are an alcoholic or that you even drink. Just thought it was a sensible question. I couldn't work at Krispy Kreme all night and not eat some fresh, hot...
Yeah like americanjebus said " Be mature", and then after you smoke him, stick your fingers in your ear, stick out your tongue, and go na, na, na, na ,na..................lol
So far it looks like the construction workers love them some supras................:biglaugh:
I wouldn't mind being a sales executive for Ford either. Your title sounds alot better than " carpenter ", but, I do love my job..........lol
Willfish, if I could wear that suit outside working on vinyl siding, I would weigh like 175 pounds. It makes me hot just looking at it, and not hot like Paris Hilton saids. Hot like, let me out of this freaking thing..............lol
Have you asked any of your friends if maybe they would like to buy your car? Then you can take the money you were going to put into a swap and buy a turbo'd supra. Just my two cents worth since I don't know how much a swap would cost you...........GL
There you go again IJ, bragging about your speed demon with it's new avcr.............;)
If I'm going over 150 mph, my windows are going to be the last thing on my mind. I don't have to worry about that though, cause with my rearend, I don't think my car will do over 130...............lol
Hey Tanya, I just looked at your cafepress, and I will be ordering a few tshirts from you when I can sit down and look at them closer. Good luck with the minimum wage thing....................lol
