It's not going to be easy no matter what you do. You can tighten it with the turbo on though. My question is........Did you put the TWO copper washers on the bolt? Their should be one on each side of it. If their not on their you'll probably have a hard time making it seat against the block...

automatic the most I dynod was 317 rwhp, 312 torque. I then added a bic ddp, manual transmission, and no boost controller. The first dyno was running 12.5 psi. The dyno where I made 406 was at 18 psi...............lol Edit: 317 hp= 12.5 psi w/ automatic ....... 406 hp= 18.0 psi w/...

That sounds like it defies the laws of physics or something. I made 406 rwhp, and only made 387 ft. of torque. Then again, maybe my car defies physics..........:dunno:

Well since someone started a thread about this. I just bought a trd cap off of ebay. Came in, doesn't fit. I tried it on my wife's '89, doesn't fit. I had previously bought two different rcaps for my car at advanced auto parts. Neither one of them fit. I have had two previous supras, so I know...

Is that a catch can right beside the turbo housing? You may want to move that over to the otherside of the engine bay where it's cooler. Just my opinion.......lol and good luck. You'll have to wait on someone else to answer about what's wrong with your car. I'm sure someone will answer it...
