Mine did the same thing for a while. I rigged it up with some hot glue and that worked good for a while, but I've since replaced the whole assembly. It wasn't that hard to do. Good luck.

Yeah Josh, I found the valve clearances for a 2jz head. Should they be the same as the 1jz head? If their not, then I didn't find what I needed. Hopefully someone knows if they are the same tolerances............lol
