All arguing aside, I don't think anyone in their right mind would say that it is not a good idea to get a set of bigger injectors to go with your maft for higher boost, if you can afford it.
You don't need them for 13psi but it gives you a safety margin. As soon as you see what 13psi is like...
I was replying to this:
I was making an arguement for my reasoning behind saying something is wrong with your fuel system if you are hitting fuel cut. If you take everything I said out of context it is easy to argue with.
Fuel injector size WILL affect the afm reading when running a maft...
Exactly, you can:
1 "fix" your fuel cut "issue" by running way lean, and blow up the engine.
2 buy bigger injectors and not get (or need) fuel fuel cut because everything is right.
Something IS wrong with the fuel system if you hit fuel cut, you don't have the correct injectors.
Fuel cut...
So you are saying that fuel cut is ONLY because of too much intake air? That is not correct. What if he was hitting fuel cut because the fpr was disconnected? What if he was hitting fuel cut because he had a big boost leak? What if it was running too rich because of incorrect afc settings? There...
You will still have fuel cut if you still have stock injectors, but it might be at a little higher boost (~14psi). With 550cc's and a upgraded ct-26 the fuel cut would be somewhere over 25psi! Fuel cut means something is wrong or your fuel system can not supply enough fuel.
No, the MAF sensor replaces the LEX afm. The maft is basically a translator then takes the signal from the gm type maf sensor and converts it to something the supra ecu can recognize.
The ecu cover is removable, it got switched. As stated before, the car would not run with a 7mge ecu. And it does not run now so something is obviously wrong!
Maft whoops all over the lex afm. Use any size injector to 1000cc, maft idle adjustment is 10x better then the "reimer screw", has a basic afm built in, maf sensor flows better then lex afm...
Well I just acquired a turbonetics t04 cast manifold for my 7m! My goals are the same as yours but mainly I want 400whp+ at a much lower boost then I have to run on my 50 trim ct26, and I want fast spool. When everything gets dialed in nicely I would like to go for the 450+ whp mark on the high...

If this is all that is left you are going to be shipping them now right? It's been 2 weeks, and no pics of shirts yet. I'll buy one more of the ones that are left if it will help. Give me a discount on the shipping and I...
It sucks that they have not paid but I don't think that should stop the people who have from getting their shirts. You should just post the shirts that are available on socalsupras, supraforums and supramania and they will sell fast since they are ready to go now. 3 weeks was actually longer...
True IJ, if my cheap ic has 1 psi of pressure drop more then the one that costs $500 more, I just turn my boost controller up 1/32 of a turn and I spend the $500 on nice tires or a wideband a/f meter or something else that is actually worth the money. If someone has a show car that has...
The dude who started this thread has no idea what he is talking about. Let him blow his money on whatever he wants. I think people buy the name expensive brand ic's so they can brag about how much their intercooler costs, not because it actually will perform better.
