My first car was a 1970 Gran Torino. At the time I thought it was the fastest thing around. It had a 302 in it and my supra would have ran circles around it, but at fifteen it seemed fast. It would roast the tires at will, and that's really all I wanted out of a car back then...........:biglaugh:

I'll search driftmotion for the 2j muffler bearings. I have a brand new set of 7m bearings sitting in my floor beside my computer. I couldn't afford the titanium covered ones, but these should do. Thanks.

Which one is more reliable, the 7m or 2jz, and how hard is it to put the 2jz in a mkIII? Can I use my stock shifter and steering wheel? Is the 2jz steering wheel different? I was also wondering if I could use my old 7m rings so I don't have to buy any new ones for my 2jz. Thanks. Great work...
