If you got a jdm head on there it is blocked off at the back of the head, no need to block it off on the side. I just cut the flange off the egr valve and weld the little hole in it closed. Easy and free!

I have replaced about 10 bad tps sensors before, it's every common.

If the tps is bad that's probably why you can't set the timing correctly, and it might idle poorly too. Do yourself a favor and replace it with a brand new tps.

Is there any way you could get me the specifics on what Ford IAC he is using, I've been looking for one that is readily available and not too expensive, but i'm not getting anywhere after going to every auto parts place in town plus hours of research online.
