Yeah I also agree. Just about everything on my stinger is controlled by the boost pressure per rpm. If my boost drops then the timing and fuel also changes. Here is a log I just made with the wastegate hooked up to the throttle body and the top port left open...
You guys can't see the cat with blue eyes laying in the basket? Are you seeing a red X? That's weird, I see it fine. Here, I'll copy it for you.
That should do it? You're welcome. I used to have a persian that was a little bit lighter color'd than yours.
I printed it off and I'm going to check in a few minutes. I did talk with Ian and I have it hooked up exactly like he said it should be installed.
Jeremy, I did run a vacuum line straight from the throttle body to the side port yesterday and I made a run,but I had to get out of throttle...
As I stated earlier.......I think I posted it, if not here it is. The last time I was at the dyno I made four pulls back to back to back to back, and they were all within three tenths of one horsepower of each other. I just can't see any boost leak being that accurate. It just about has to be...
The only thing Ian is that it's always ran perfectly with the other setup. When my car was 1jz and even with the first 1.5, the car never quit pulling all the way to 7300rpm. On all of my dyno graphs it was still climbing when we shut down. Their is something screwy going on and I know I'll find...
OH, I get it.................:biglaugh:
wait just a damn't minute.........that shit ain't funny one gosh dern bit..........:3d_frown:
Pete, yeah my cars running, but I ain't. I'm killling me some commy bastards........:2ar15:
I also replaced the turbo gasket yesterday. I'll do some pulls tomorrow and see what it's doing. It may be the turbo, but I took it apart and it looks brand new. I have no shaft play at all even after running this turbo for two years. As accurate as it is, I think it's got to be in the boost...
It's a .82turbine housing.
I think the timing changes due to the boost and not vice versa. The first 2j block detonated four pistons. It had the wrong head gasket, way too much clearance between bore and pistons and the timing was a bit too aggressive I think, but other than that I can't tell...
That was back in 2007. I brought my wife and kids and I trailer'd it up so we would have air conditioning and room. Lucky for me too since I tore my clutch up at the track. I couldn't dyno or anything after that, but luckily my friends only called me a pussy two or three times for not dynoing it...
I just did a pull but I couldn't get passed the dreaded 6400rpm mark and still have room to stop my car. I live near a two lane road and the speed limit is 40mph. I was probably doing closer to 110mph just guessing. With the wastegate hooked up and the boost controller not, it still spooled to...
No not yet, but I will in a few minutes. I just got home from work and I would love to sit on the couch and relax for about fifteen minutes.
I had the same problem with my HKS copy wastegate, so I bought the Tial. I had to have a new vband clamp welded onto my manifold so I know it isn't...
