The size of your turbo shouldn't affect the way the car runs when it's not under boost. The same map that will idle a CT-26 would idle a car with a T-88.
I'd suspect that something else got messed up while you were hooking up the WG and BC.
Call Homeland Security!!!!!
OMG it's TICKING!!!!
AGGHhhhhHHH!!!!!:runaway:
Ahem.. Sorry, I thought I was a Boston city councilman for a second...

I see similar. My hardtop MKIV gets 19-20 mpg around town. On a long road trip (like going to the TX2K meets) it will get 27+ mpg if I leave the cruise control on and I keep my foot away from the gas pedal. :)
Rarely makes economic sense. Now 93 + meth = fun boost ;)
I'm partial to VP's...
If you are broke enough to give a shit about the fuel mileage on your sports car (ahem..) , you are too broke to replace the motor after you detonate it and blow it up...
The other reasons are crap. (Especially the parts thing.. .There are tons of 2JZGE parts out there)
But this one is the one that matters. You run what you like.
Personally I'm doing a 2JZ-GE NA->T swap into my MKIII next year, because it looks like fun (and I have a spare 2JZ-GE)...
Do what...
We did something like that with a MKII that had a 7M swap. We pulled it into Toyota and told them it made funny noises when we changed gears.
When we opened the hood the guy damned near had a heart attack.. ;)
