If it's not detonation, it's not really all that harsh. There's no "explosion" in a properly running engine, just burning and expansion. With that said, I'd give you good odds that it was at idle. And yea, that was a damned cool video.

What I use is the following: Wash the car with blue dawn dish soap. (It's very alkaline, so you don't want to do this more than once or twice a year...) Clay bar the entire car. Wash again with a detailer wash like Zaino Z-7 Polish with something like Zaino Z-2 Follow up with Z-6, then Z-5...

Loser. Damned shame that some of these people live long enough to reproduce...
