    Painting the Block

    Masking tape then cut the outline of the gasket out with a sharp knife. Prepsol is a cleaner like acetone.

    Try looking at the ignition fuse. And test the ignition system in it.

    Clean the Block got like you said then use prepsol and wipe it down good a couple times then use engine paint it is for high heat. That should do it.
