Check ecu ground ,starter connection make sure all are tight. Gas smell, fuel leak, loose upper and lower intake manifold bolts or loose egr valve.

Try and tighen the ecu ground ,its on the bottom rear intake mani.

Re torque your head bolts.

Sounds like a vacuum leak Allen try spraying carb cleaner around the intake and hoses if it speeds up you have a leak.
