What are you giving up by using the basic HKS instead of the Stopper? For quadruple the price, I would expect the Stopper to take signficantly more to blow. I would think it comes down to boost and HP goals (i.e. 16 psi and 350 whp wouldn't require a Stopper, but 27 and 650 probably...

Poodles nailed it. Use a 12mm bolt in the two threaded holes in the rotor, and nothing else, except for maybe a little PB Blaster. I fought my rears for two hours, somebody suggested this, and I had them both off in 15 minutes.
