Thanks for the pics Arrunh!!!!!!!!!
It was a great time! Milwaukee is a nice location for a meet, Plenty to do and see :)
If you guys are okay with kinda planning the next meet in accordance with ^ the autox about lets do it! This time we'll run our cars haha that means getting there...
Go look, they are stamped.
I doubt misplaced cam caps would make that big of a difference in difficulty to turn.. If everything is tight and in place, I wouldn't worry about it.

Because you aren't driving a DSM. For the extra ~$100 at most you'll have a much better looking compressor housing and wont have to mess around with a 2.5" -> 2.0" coupler (assuming you have 2.5" piping)
Its this:
Or, this:
Lets all meet at the multi level garage on the south end of mayfair mall at 12 noon. (North of north ave, East of hwy 100. If you look at it in satelite mode it is the big white colored structure)...
Hey Guys!
Sorry for not updating sooner...
YES we are still on for the Meet this saturday in Milwaukee!
First off who is all in? I know besides myself, my friend TJ is in also with his MKIV sooo.....
1.Sam
2.TJ
3. ( add yourself :) )
So hopefully we can all meet up...
Yes, it does the job very well
Some will tell you to replace it with a full flow cooler with t-stat n all, which is a bit over kill for a street car..
I would definately invest in all that if I road raced my car regularly.
Sam
Nope, I'm running the stock "cooler" with the GREX adapter to a remote mounted filter via -10 line.
At 190* you're oil will be too cool almost, like mensioned by Arpus 220ish* is optimal in the fact that the oil cleanses its impurities. Plus with running full synthetic it takes more abuse...
Any of you running coolers know what your oil temps are?
No cooler here and the highest my oil temps have ever gotten is 110 °C / 230 °F.
Which was a WOT hwy pull (30-40 sec)
Shave the wing itself?
On my stock Pre-89 wing there are small rubber sections on each far side on the bottom to prevent rubbing paint. Probably be the easiest way to go..
I'm not running a shroud, no overheating here.
OP, what fan set-up are you running?
When does the car overheat? only while idling, only accel, cruising? etc.
Sam
:boink:
LOL, my 275 (NT555) spin, not like butter.. well, only on cool nights :evil2:
~4K is where the chaos begins with my 6262
I always enjoy your vids Kenny!
IMO headwork is overrated, just up the boost ;)
