There is a dipstick that goes in that area, IC pipe, vacuum hose, turbo oil line in that area... not a whole lot else. Emmission, pvc, bov and ISC hoses go in to the accordian. Unless someone put something new in the area. Don't know what else to tell ya.

Never heard of it. Check where the oil is comming from. Most likely those old hoses need replacement is all. Take a look.

Give some more information on what it sounds like. And exactly when its happening. Like...noise at idle? Is it a spooling up noise? Can you make it sound like that with the hood open, maybe you can locate it better. What method did you use to increase fuel cut?
