that is quite creative. not like just throwing a brick or something.. imagine the look on the hardware store clerk's face when she comes up to the counter with 8 picks, and probably pissed off as hell? rofl
you need to locate the "heater water control valve"
this is it right here (click to enlarge)
then, pull up on the actuator and hold it up with something. (i used a couple zipties)
5 minutes, and you have wonderful, glorious heat.
another alternative to this, and i much prefer this...
dont shim the wastegate. buy a downpipe first. at least clear out the exhaust, then worry about upping the boost.
there are plenty of downpipe options (::cough::bic..)
and plenty of exhaust options. (that one's up to you)
clear out the restriction behind the turbo and you'll see more boost...
ae86 "harder car to drift in?" you ever done it? i want proof. because all i've heard is how easy the rear comes out and how easy it is to make it stay there... hence the huge drift following for that car... i cant state factual evidence, but as soon as i can, i will.
yeah, probably with a nylon strip to act as a "tire" or something like that. it doesnt have to be a "caster" specifically, but it's the best way to describe it.
no matter what wheel it is, you should be able to find it somewhere locally, and probably cheap too.
yeah, those things have been on ebay for a loooooong time.
maybe he'll come to his senses, and that day i may win the lottery. then i'll buy them at a discounted rate.
holy shit yes. i made the mistake of telling them to "just order it, i need it" on an intercooler hose. turns out that the one lower hose that clamps to the IC is something more than $100... and it's nearly straight.. last time i ever do that. lol
yeah, he meant casters.
i vote the "remove the similar wheel and bring it to some sort of supply store" like home depot, or something like that.
thats your best bet.
probably cheaper than buying a replacement wheel "meant" for the hoist
whenever my car is running next, i plan on making my own big movie. i'll take a 2 hour drive and make a nice 10-15min movie out of it.
as for this one, i have a few mk3 vids. i'll check my other computer and figure out what i've got... (haven't a clue, really)
