Very nice Josh!
I have the utmost respect for someone who takes their time to do a job right. That engine looks incredible! It's so clean...
BTW: How much did the machine work cost you for the head?
Sidenote: I wish I could move that fast!
$100 for a phenolic spacer?
typically they run about $60, but as this is an initial run of them, i can see how the price would be a bit high...
still, though... how much is it to have something coated in thermal barrier?
anyhow, i would like to see how this pans out. hell, i may even be in...
it's actually easier to remove the transmission with the engine than to unbolt the bellhousing and remove it alone.
of course this is all "IMO" and i'm sure some people see it the other way around...
the only way to find out is to do it. figure out your own way, i'm sure you'll be doing it...
lol, IJ. may as well be. i hate night vids! but, they're better than the vids i'm posting up... which are none. yep. i have a couple, but they suck. i wish i took some when i was running open dp. oh well
picture? run a hose from the turbo to the correct side of the MBC and the other fitting, run a hose to the WG actuator.
use as little hose as possible to keep boost spikes down to a minimal, while still making it easily accessible (not real easy IMO) but you'll find a way.
just broke the vacuum tube off of the fitting?
ich... um, either go to toyota for it, or i mean... someone has to have extras... if i did, i'd gladly send you one. but i only have one of 'em.....
i think you're stuck with toyota on this one. i often wondered if you could use a brake line...
