Nate: I would put all the electricals inside the hatch. It will make tracing a short/problem that much easier.
sarichmond: never use "fuel" and "blow up" in the same sentence around someone who's building a fuel system. ;)
I was wondering the same thing, Nash...
That trim panel is gonna look awfully funny inside, resulting in a lot of "Was there a window there?" questions from passengers...
I think that's what he's getting at, Mike.
The plug wires will interfere with the injector wires, making odd problems.
Kind of how when you run amp wiring, you always keep the RCA cables as far away from the power cables so you don't get alternator whine through your stereo.
You can do a couple things.
Make a lil' bracket and mount them to the firewall, you can use the same plug wires, just reversed.
You can get long wires and send the coilpack to where the battery is (if you relocate the battery)
Put the coilpack on the fenderwell near the clutch master...
Ian, I would hardly classify you as a "ricer" or "loser". I mean, you're older than a lot of us, but I wouldn't even classify you as old...
At least for another year or so....
But we're all ricers! My pink underglows have been backordered. Should I go with the rainbow LED one's instead?
lol. That's how it's supposed to work.... :icon_conf
Bryan: I guess I'm still not following your logic...
I'm more than a regular customer. I have odd requests at times (compared to a regular guy who needs a ball joint), and it's better that I look it up myself. We actually decided that...
You need a speedometer cable. Probably the long one, the more expensive one.
You need to clean the contacts on the fuel level sending unit.
I believe there's a writeup on the SOGI website.
