i somewhat agree with bob, it really did suck they banned it but they had to put a cap on the speeds somehow, it was getting far too dangerous. then again i live in a magical ninja land so i guess dangerous things dont exist.

well, for 600-700 i dont see why it cant be done. i have seen some good standard bore blocks go for 50 bucks everyonce in a while in the US, i would have picked one up but im in Canada. Im not sure what kidn of shop you have but mine can get it balanced and resized for about 250, + rod bearings...

if youre staying under 12 psi of boost, then your should be fine. above that i fear detonation. edit. i personally would just get a gte block, take your head off your current motor, get your crank resized and balanced, as well as a complete rebuild. but thats just me.

i dont trust retorques, as the bolts are really old and they might be even mope innacurate when you torque them down the second time! i would just replace then with arp headbolts.
