Nice try, but please try to read what I write.
Did I say there were no discoveries since 1966? No I did not. I said that was the peak year for discoveries.
There has been about ~900b barrels discovered since 1966. The rate of these discoveries has been dropping about 1b barrels / year. Proven...
This is science Nick, there is always uncertainty, but it can be managed.
Peak year for oil discoveries was 1966 (~57b barrels). Discoveries after 1980 have been <30b barrels/year and have been decreasing on average about 1b barrels / year.
The Chevron find is expected to produce 800k...
Who knows what year was the peak for oil discoveries?
Who knows what % of total US consumption will be satisifed by this "huge" discovery?
Who knows how much oil was discovered versus consumed in 2004 (last year I have data for)?
Interesting questions... you may not like the answers.
The window tinit is a great idea, but for my app, I have a hole, so will need to use something more rigid than film. Maybe a piece of plexiglass covered with the tint would work.
The latter, I'm looking at a tinted cover for displays, rather than changing the color. I think just a piece of grey tinted plastic would do, cut to shape and glued on the back of a cutout.
I'm cooking up a project that will require SMD components, so I am leaning towards a commercial PCB. I...
An automatic transmission is an automobile gearbox that can change gear ratios automatically as the car or truck moves, thus freeing the driver from having to shift gears manually. So I think a CVT qualifies, and an SMG.
A hydraulic automatic transmission would probably be defined more like...
The Titan MHG is said to be a rebadged Cometic. The RA spec for the Cometic is 50 microinches. RA is the average surface roughness, a measure of how smooth the metal is. It is measured using a surface profiler gauge. Here's one that we just installed in our cleanroom. Most machine shops use...
The oil feed for the head is at the front. I would seriously take a look at the cam seals before pulling the head (unless you have other BHG issues as well). To check the seals you need to remove the cam pulleys and the black plate that is bolted to the head. Its a lot less work than swapping...
The head is on an angle, so oil always flows to the back. I would check the cam oil seals or the CPS o-ring as they are the two most common leaks after the valve cover gasket.
Did you use FIPG on the valve cover gasket near the front cam bearing caps?
Mike's site is down, or I would just give you the link.

That's cross breeding, and cannot happen because the sperm of one species does not posses the correct code to penetrate the egg wall of another species.
Evolution is not revolution! For most creatures, it takes time, far more time than the span of a human life, or even many lives. It is...
It is interesting to look at software in general. It is something that takes a great deal of energy to create, but in the end it is just intangible information. It has not mass or physical being, although you can put it on media that has physical properties. Once destroyed it is gone forever...
Natural selection just chooses the strongest set of characteristics available for a given set of boundary conditions. When you change those conditions, and then change them back, it should be no surprise that the previous optimized traits re-emerge. That is the very tenant of TOE, and is in...
A suntan will not alter your genome. If you cut your finger with a knife, you bleed, but your offspring will not be any different. If your genome is altered, then all your off spring are affected and will be different. Your comment suggests you do grasp even the very basic concepts.
