it's not really worth it. The oil return lines will need to come off to get the whole thing to move WITH THE manifold far enough off the studs of the head to remove the head. At that point, there are only 4 nuts holding the turbo to the manifold anyway. You can try it... but when you're...

It meant, "what?" Your post didn't make any sense. What do you really want to do? Remove the head without touching the turbo? If so, that's a lost cause... best to take everything off.

You can do anything while anything is still in place.

If you remove the stock brace underneath.... you can take the head off with the manifold and turbo... it'll just be heavy as hell.
