My supra's running! I can't believe it was just the grounds that bolt on the intake manifold. It was messing with the ecu and after tightening it, it runs smooth and pulls hard now. I guess the scion xa isn't goin to richmond haha

Nope...I'm gonna be checking my spark with a real spark tester later today. If it's tornado free outside. No codes still, and the tach moves a bit when i try cranking it so i don't think it's the cps. The coils checked out fine too as far as the voltages. *Just replaced all the spark plugs...

Just rechecked all the wires, grounds, and coils. All seem to be fine, but it's still not starting. It started for a minute but was at like 250 rpm and would not respond to throttle changes. I was checking the plug that connects to the main coil pickup wire and only one of the pins have...

Yeah it's grounded, but the wire is the original 22 yr old wire haha. I'll make a ground wire after i get off later and see what happens. Thanks

I already did all of them seem to be fine. I'm kinda leaning towards fuses now, if there is one specifically for the coils. If there is one, where can I find it, cuz it's not in the main fuse box behind the battery.

Dammit, the previous owner, which is my friend's uncle, swears that the car was swapped with a jdm motor and ecu. However, I was thinking, since it has an egr and knock sensors, that he just got screwed by some mechanic and claimed that the motor was "JDM". Well, you don't happen to have any...

Will this apply for a 7m with the egr blocked off? My instructor said the head might run a little bit hotter because of the block off. Also, i was wondering if the thermostat housing needs a paper gasket too, or will the thermostat o-ring suffice? I read the tsrm and it doesn't say anything...

Haha I was referring to the s4 and s5 fc's. Are they direct swaps or do i have to splice the clips? I can probably get them cheap from my friend that has a supercharged fc.

I believe they're both top feed.
