I have 2 R154 trannys one I ran for a while on my 88 while the other one came with my 90 ..... I wanna sell one o them but wanna keep the better one if one is better.... how would I tell without driving the new one what kind of shape its in??

Whats the problem with pickle forks ??? The only time I have had to remove tie rod ends I replaced them... they are pretty cheap..... I have never had one damage anything else??? Sent from my C771

I dont remember what sst stands for ... special supra tool?? lol but it just presses the tierod out without damaging the rubber like a fork tends to do Sent from my C771

As long as your gonna replace them you can use a pickle fork I always use an airhammer with pickle fork attachment .... Sent from my C771

Ok... does it matter what I torque it to as long as its even???? I usually stick a chain on a couple bolts but in this case I didn't wanna ruin the threads on my arb studs Sent from my C771

i wasnt thinking when i pulled my engine i set it on a tire and then pulled the head off..... now how do i pick it back up??? could i damage anything by retorquing the head to x amount of ftlbs then using a cherry picker???
