Well said!
Not to mention the complete headache given to the next owner if you ever sell the vehicle...
I have Worked on a few old fords and chevys that whoever worked on them before fixed them by adding wires. Pita to diagnose a wiring issue especially when you get used to fixing stuff that...

here was my thread when I was first starting with maft pro In it I have posted my settings and a few guys gave me a lot of good Info
I can't move it maby a mod can anyway did you unplug your hac sensor? Not that it would necessarily cause your problem just wondering... Also Can you post your settings page?
True but I for one don't like "shotgun fixing" or one by one "blindly" replacing parts that COULD be the issue... If that wire is the problem then yes replace the whole wire it's a better fix anyway not having another splice increasing resistance... Without proper diagnosis you could end up...
Go back through all your settings... When I was setting mine up I found it easy to miss something that was slightly off
Are you using a map sensor?
Also did you set it up with the paper that came with it? What year is your car?
Also might wanna move this to the correct subforum
I agree it's got a pretty quiet hum at cruise and I do miss the fact that I used to be able to drown out the bumblebee exhaust sound when a riced Honda is cruising near me just by shifting :-P
I was 16 once :-P lol I used to love loud exhaust... My blue supra had a big bov that I could never hear over my 4" straight pipe that came from my t70 turbo and dumped out under the passenger seat ... Now I want it as quiet as possible while still allowing for good flow... to be able to hear...
what jetjock said.... Also put your key in the driver door and lock and unlock it a few times there is a chance you set off your alarm this will turn it off if so
