The DIS4 won't work on the stock coils that are 15-20 years old.
You'll need to update them to a GM tower style for example.
They're like 60 some each, and wire in just like stock.
If it's not your brakes, I'd check the pedal pre-load... make certain the clutch is fully engaging.
If not you'll experience premature wear, which will be more pronounced if you're brake-boosting.
