Welcome, Ryan! I love the username.. lol As for your A/C, these cars originally came with R12 refrigerant, so unless it's been retrofitted to R134a, the R134a fitting will not work on your A/C lines. I'd get that tapping sound looked at by someone local, there are plenty of users on this...

If it's like other tail lights, there is some adhesive holding the lens to the housing, and you have to either bake it in the oven for a few minutes or use a heat gun and carefully pry the lens (read: CAREFULLY). As it warms up, it will slowly peel apart. Be patient and try not to melt the lens...

Well there's an obvious product issue with the fitting you pictured. Having only 2 barbs and being slightly undersized is a big deal when it's size and barbs are the only thing holding the hose on! As a side note, I'm going to try to mount my FC oil cooler in the bumper beam with a turbo-a...
