Well, it might be due i don't have an idle control valve anymore (I didnt like the way it looked with the hood popped).
My idle is around 600rpms cold, once it gets to 800rpms, its pefect. Takes like 3mins
My turbo is also non BB. .81 exhaust housing non devided.
My exhaust cam is retarded 2.5 degrees, it makes all the difference. I can see boost at 2000rpms even in a tall gear.
On the highway it sucks... at around 87mph, the turbo starts spooling, and instead of cruising at my goal...

Stock bottom end highest seen with witnesses so far is 1046whp... it didnt last the drive home tho. Rod bolts failed like the 7M's.

500hp is easy on pump gas. Thats what my setup is built for. Technically im already there, because im 420whp at 12-14psi.
Stock internals break the same as the 2JZGTE. The stock rod bolts pull out at around 1000whp.
