    First, them being 25 years old is irrelevant. Second, there was no contribution only if you didn't bother to work "alittle" for it.

    Runs well" is subjective. The consequences are relatively minor for the engine but major for other systems eg; cruise and TEMS. If it were me I'd fix it anyway.

    Huh? I daily drove mine for well over 20 years. Ran like a watch right up until the day I crushed it. Didn't require a whole lot of maintenance either. Course, having control of it since day one helped.
