Is your front end bent up? Or are you replacing it because of rust? If it's bent up, my advice would be to take it to a body shop so everything will be put back straight. But if your car is not bent, I would use some sort of bracing to hold everything straight and then cut out the old one and...

No I'm not using the stock tensioner, mine is like the one in the pic below. IIRC the vent-blow by hose is 5/8".

I know you are going with a short runner, but no one has posted a pic for ya, so here is a pic of my Alt drop bracket I made for using a long runner FFI. This way I keep my AC. You can see how the Alt sits in pics on my build thread.

For the gas pedal there is an adjustment under the hood on the throttle linkage that will take the slack out, it looks like a bolt that the cable goes threw. The "bolt" will have 2 nuts on it and it threads threw a bracket. Loosen the nuts and turn the bolt until the slack is gone.

:confused: yes you have, one problem that is "hit yourself in the face" obvious is your tires are WAY to small, as in the pics you posted of your car, that will throw off your speed. What size tires are they (in the rear), and we could figure out how far off they are messing up your speed.
