as the OS Giken gear sets are discontinued, your probably out of luck. only option i can see is have a custom made gear from a shop that specializes in transmissions.
there is this that MAY work. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_R_transmission this is all the R-series trans that toyota...
if your auto which i assume if you have a OD button, the the ECT is elecronic controlled transmission, which all autos are.
as for what you can delete. well none of it really, they all do something.
check the rear subframe bushings and bolts. sounds like the rear subframe has shifted.
also are all 4 rims the same? amlost sounds like you got 2 diff rims on the rear.
never heard a balljoint make that kind of noise before, they normally make the "clunk" noise. id also go over the car with a grease gun and lube every grease port you can find.
maybe the connector is problem? if the window was down in the rain might have burnt the connection in the plug itself? id try a pick and scrape inside the connector and see what comes out.
that missing bolt is on the motormount, so wont be oil there. the stock drains suck, they work fine till you touch it, then leak. id recomend a ss braided soft hose kit. makes install in the car so much easier.
Kai posted these a while back, but cant find his post so i uploaded them http://www.sendspace.com/file/3ft39g
that is the colision repair manuals for both hard and targa tops. personally i think id be easier to just fix the targa car than try to swap roofs, or atleast swap the roof section...
casue i need a supra stick to hold all my high hp stickers, otherwise my HG will blow up from to much power :P
my reason for not using the hood struts, that hood F**KN HURTS when it falls on your head! vicegrips on the shock is much more effective for me :D
the supra nad the cressida use a diff crossmember, so the big bump in the oilpan and the oil pump pickup is different. easy enough to swap over. if you have the 2 side by side, it will stick out like a sore thumb
simply order a cone/mushroom filter+ adapter for the lexus maf. i know injen makes one for the 92-94 sc400, im sure k&n and other also make one
you could also dremel out the 7m adapter to fit the lex properly aswell if you already have one.
sounds like a front busing on either the control arms or the subframe. if thats the case, id replace all of them at once if you can afford it, as im sure the others arnt far behind from doing it.
