Poodles,
You should swing by the office and see my car and let me know what you think, I need to upgrade a couple of things.
Mad,
Thanks for the Pics, that is the kindof drop I was looking for.
Ryan
Anybody have experience with the Tanabe springs or the RSR springs? I was looking at these and they look like they don't have as big of a drop, remember I like to drag race but don't want to be 4x4ing it either. I like the look of the Eibachs, but it is my daily and some people scrape.
I just want to replace my springs and struts, I have a set of sway bars ready to go in aswell. I drive my car on the steet and at the drag strip and that's about it. I think I'll check into the system that Brent has.
Ok, I need to get a set of springs and struts. I want to spend about $500 at the most. This is my daily driver and have to drive about 35 miles a day, So I want something that will be a good set with still having better handling then stock. I do go to the strip once a month, so If I get a...
Bryan, Do you think the 60mm peak gauges would fit in there? I would take the Bezel off or paint it black, but it looks like from the pics there may be a little more room in there?
I made sure to flush the system when I installed the master. If I pump the pedal enough it goes into gear but pops back out when I start to drive.
On my lunch break I went and tried to drive the car again and when I slowed down enough to put the car in first gear it poped out again once I...
Ok, I just went out to the car and checked the fluid in the master cylinder and the level seems to be fine however it's black and not the normal color??
I have replaced my Slave cylinder when I replaced my clutch about 8k miles ago. What's wierd is it will not shift into first gear, when it doesn't stay in gear.
Ok guys I replaced my master clutch cylinder a couple of weeks ago and all of a sudden I can't get my car to go into first gear when at a stop. When I am going and slowing down almost to a stop, I can put it in first gear and it will be fine and I can drive. But when I'm at a stop and I can't...
How low is your car though? Like right now I don't even come close to rub the fender with my TT rims with 275/40/17's so my new rim will only stick out about .8 inches more than it does now and my fenders aren't rolled right now. I used to have nitto 315/35/17 nitto's (they seem smaller than...
You have the 17X10 with the 25 offset, so wouldn't the 17X10 with the 35 offset be a little more tucked under the fender than yours? and yours doesn't stick out that far at all. Since I have the TT wheels it's only going to stick out about .6 inches more that it does now so it shouldn't be too...
BorHor,
I basically want the same setup you have with the FN01R-C wheels, but I was going to get the 17x10 with the 35 offset for the rears and the 17X8 with the 25 offset for fronts, with the 275/40/17 MT drag radials and the Kumho 245/40/17 for fronts. I'm getting the Tanabe springs that...
As the title says, has anyone done this without NOS? I don't remember ever seeing anyone do this. I've searched a couple of times but no luck. I have a full weight car with interior and bolt on 60-1 turbo and going to try and do this when I get some new tires and the tracks open back up!
They won't work on our cars, they are a different impendance I believe and they won't bolt up with the fuel rail. Do you have any other pics of your car? Mine is a 89T same color with a fresh paint and chrome TT rims
Buldozr,
I have the Kit as well installed on my car, if you want you can swing by and look at it. If you need couplers, fastturbo in haslet is a great place with great prices on couplers and t bolt clamps. I pm'd you my info!
2jzmk3,
Which tires do you have? The 275/50/17's? Aren't they 28" tall aswell, do you rub at all? I was thinking about getting the 275/55/16's that they have that are the same height that you have, but I was thinking they would rub becuase they are 28" tall??
That is awesome numbers for that upgrade, did your customer mention the revving of the motor and how much better it was? It's only $350 and where are you located? I bet the numbers would be even greater on a higher hp car too.
