yeah whats with the hood? team name? you should make it like something more respectful instead of something that a bunch of teens thought of, that way people would be like "DAMN thats the supra from team (enter cool yet subtle name here)!!!"
yeah, well heres the thing...
i checked the oil while it was hot. it was ok, when it was cool there was NOTHING so i guess ive been running dry for a while, but they dont know that and i dont plan on telling them.
yeah its from the impact, my brother pulled the same shit in the celica and he smacked the curb hard. he went to the tire people and the "fixed" it for 4xx+ and its still the same.
UPDATE #2:
They just told me to drive it tomorrow, but I dont think its such a great idea to be driving around with ticking valves. My dad said it's because "i race" the engine..."flooring" it in other words, but I don't see why that would cause the valves to do that. I'm sure there are...
Update:::
It turns out it IS the lifters/vavles, i told my parents that they should bring it to the dealer ASAP and get it fixed otherwise itll be fucked.
I'll let you know on thier decision, in fact, I don't even want to drive it tomorrow.
Recently I've been hearing a "ticking" sound coming from what seems to be under the drivers side of the motor. When I hit around 3k RPM it gets louder as the RPM's increase. I'm assuming its the valves, but I searched on google and there was also a mentioning of the exhaust and how that might...
