I agree with doc, the reason I'm looking more and more to the SOGI is for shifting. Around town, don't get me wrong, I LOVE the C's, esp. my short one. But when it comes time to mow through the gears, it doesn't cut it. My old SOGI was pretty good with that part, I must say. -J

Hey, I'll make it quick. Those with shortened C's sticks, did any of you try to thread the bottom part? I would rather have a threaded knob on there than the set screw style. Just wondering what the thread size is so I could pick up a die, thanks. -J
