Well, the last week it's been 90+ here in FL and I'm going on my 4th ecu in 2 years. I got the famous super rough super rich idle of death... Seems to happen every summer.

Only happens in the afternoon when it's super hot out. This time, i'm fixing this ecu...
If you have that, just put a switch on it :)
I wouldn't see why you couldn't retrofit a car that doesn't have PPS with the PPS control valve that just basically adds in bypass circuit.
Like i said, idk if the MK3 has this.... It's a cool system it just goes by a 12v lead. I installed a switch on mine, so I can have powersteering or no powersteering at the flip of a switch.
