I have an 01' Lexus IS300 with the 2jzge. It'll get up and go and is very reliable. But, you can also go the SC300 route. Bare in mind that both cars aren't that cheap and you're probably better off keeping the celica and getting a supra than going with a Lexus.

Are you trying to make it a reliable DD? Because we all know how the stock 7M can treat an individual.

Welcome to SM. I used the majority of my deployment money recently when I was deployed to UAE. Nothing like 6 months of tax free, hazard duty, and family sep. pay to spend on the supra. Good luck over there and hope to see you come back sooner than later.
