Actually.. the better way to suppress them is to introduce more pressure onto the diaphragm.
Exhale as much air from your lungs as possible, so much that you may shake... at this point close your mouth and swallow. You must keep swallowing and swallowing until you cannot swallow any longer...
Mind you, I gave up on the LEX afm a couple years ago... To get around FCO my correction percentages were always sub -10%.. there's a lot to consider concerning ignition timing advance with negative correction... it hindsight, I'd just go VPC.
