I have read the sticky on 1jz swap parts and such but I have a 2jz water pump and it doesnt completely bolt up. Is there something else that I need or what do I need to do the pump swap?

K heres whats up. i just put my 1jz in this past saturday. the motor is sitting straight and the mounts are in the cradle but when i looked at the tranny it was sitting crooked. the u bracket on bottom doesnt line up with the holes in the bottom of the car and the looking from inside it sits...

i had a 2jz pump and the 2 bolts to the rear of the pump didnt line up. i still have my 1j pump and driftmotion sells the conversion pump with the pulley for 209 and by the time i order stuff oem im paying the same price so i figure what the hell.

K. i work at a local dealership and had one of the techs get on alldata and checked on a 2jz and it said 10 degrees btdc. it also said that i had to do a jumper to te01 and e01 in the dlc while timing or something like that. is that how you do it on the 1jz as well?

I was wondering and im not a 100% sure on this but most parts are interchangable between 1jz and 2jz. I found a 2jz hks fuel rail for cheap. if it fits I was going to get it. I need to know asap!
