Just so you know if you don't already, the wiring instructions are for a wiring harnes from a soarer 1jz. I just wanted to make that clear so you don't hook stuff up wrong. Does the 1jz in the supra a soarer (mech. fan) or supra (hydrofan) 1jz?
for $100, I'll buy them. I'll rock them on the lexus since my stockers are all curbed up from the previous owner. I'm leaving tomorrow for virginia to get my dogs and I'll be back wednesday evening. So, How about I get ahold of you when I get back and I'll get them from you?
I got 25mpg on the highway with a 3'' exhaust, chinaman y-pipe, high flow cat, 24x12x3 FMIC, at 11psi. This was also with the silencer in the muffler. Around town, I get maybe 15-18mpg. I don't really calculate it. I'm mostly driving my Lexus anyway.
I have the ebay Greddy Type-RS and it crapped out on me. It will hold the pressure, just doesn't "blow off". So, I hooked the stock one back up. I'm going to order one from Driftmotion.
But, the type-rs is adjustable and is very easy to do. I loved it when it worked right.
Once again, search. The problem with the Getrag is that it doesn't fit in the the tranny well without a lot of modification. Not worth it. Plus, the tranny's are about $3000.
Just keep your R154 and change out the rear end for one with a different ratio.
First off, search. There is plenty of info in the site.
Second, those are the cables for the alternator that go to the engine junction block for charging and what not.
Like mentioned above, you can get the soarer 1jz from a 92-95 soarer for about $1000 shipped. IIRC, it is almost a straight drop in. Only a few small things to do.
But, if you do go NA-T, get with hottscennessey . He's making some big numbers out of his 2JZGE-T.
