The first time I started reading about the 2JZGTE I learned about the oil squirters. And I thought having those was very impressive. Don't delete them.
Just remove the turbine exhaust wheel that's all you have to do. Except you more than likely would have to take off the turbo. But it would be cheap to do. More work than money. I know for a fact it can be done because I know a guy who has done it and has driven his car around for months like that.
I think it kinda depends on your total outlook/plan on the painjob. I mean it depends on what exterior mods you have. I like all of the colours you are choosing from though :D
Haha okay thanks Raven you've given me good ideas. I would just cut em up but not sure if I can get the adjustables yet so I might still need these. Thanks.
How do you remove the original sway bar end links? I tried loosening the nut on mine but it just keeps on spinning inside the joint! Do I have to cut them off with a grinder!?
If you put a piece of aluminum behind the hole while you are welding it will help you fill the hole easier and it doesn't stick to the aluminum so it's easy to pull off after.
I remember changing the differential carrier bearing in my toyota pickup 7.5 rear end and they were the cone shape thrust bearing. I know because it fell apart on me and all the bearings fell out lol. So the sealed bearing must be the wheel bearing I would guess. Not really a mechanic so I can't...
Ya that thread. Well kinda. There must be a few versions of that thread. lol I didn't know there was a THEsupraforums.com I only know about supraforums.com
