Now here is one of the GTE head: http://www.clublexus.com/gallery/data//500/GTE_combustion_chamber.JPG
The point im getting at with these pics is that the 1j, im certain, is different as well; I...
clean you battery cables/posts. Possibly replace your battery cables and the main electrical power supply cable that goes to the junction box from your + post.
If that doesnt help change your battery.
Sorry - I dont have pics but there are a few guys that have done it. Look up defiant7m
I had mocked it up in my shop but I havent ran it myself. I measured it all out with the micrometer - I cant see any reason why it wouldnt work, and you wouldnt have to purchase the Ferrea retainers and...
The point I was getting at is that the GE blocks are cheap and readily available and have been proven to hold a lot of power.
Just throwing an idea out. If you could grab a GE you could be out 500 bucks or so and be back up and running in a few days.
But if the squirters are a must have then...

Rich, In retrospect I think I would have been better off going with a universal AEM vs a 2jz AEM for my 2j swap.
For example, I had to wire in an ignitor between the C2DI and the AEM because it didnt recognize the signal.
There were a few other little things and it may not be what you...
If he is getting too much blow by then it is possible that the rings are shot on his motor.
Do a compression test first, and if it is good I would upgrade the PCV system with some bigger lines.
