All the electronics were swapped, and the JZA70 tach was used. I've verified through both the HKS Turbo Timer and the APEXi AFC Neo that the RPMs are correct within 50 RPM. I'm not running a standalone but I do have a GReddy Type-A SCD installed. If I didn't the stock ECU would limit me to...

I drove about 500 miles, then changed it out with dyno 10w30. After another 1500 miles, I'm switching to Redline 5w30 for the rest of it's life.

Design, shape, and flow levels all contribute to the way an exhaust sounds. But yeah, it's hard to screw up the Supra's exhaust note.
