What these guys are hinting at is there's a good chance your engine is not going to seal using a MLS head gasket if the block deck has not been machined smooth, usually looking like a mirror. Sometimes they will seal but its a pretty iffy bet to take. Now if you were to use a stock style...

So will the actual product be made of plastic or aluminum?

Id did that the first time i stuck my motor in and it leaked pretty good. Didn't leak at first but after a few weeks it started leaking. Left black spots all over the driveway..Sucks having to take the motor out of fix the freaking oil pan..
