You mean changing the endlinks? Only if they break, which happens when using too soft springs or dampers, from what i hear. If you are running performance springs and dampers, the sway bar end links do fine. Sway bars are a very good handling mod.

It is the turning stop caps, are missing or worn out. Get new ones from Toyota, or grease up the old ones, and check the difference. HTH
