i'm not sure if it retains the info (artist, title,) , and it is really kind of a bitch to go through the 3 million folders going through your whole scattered library. its like playing 52 pickup. it sucks. i'd get some software. but if you're gonna PAY for the software, yeah, go through the 52...

there's legal issues, thats why iTunes can't do it, but you can easily go on download.com or some kind of other equivalent site and type in ipod sync or something equivalent, and there's many programs out there to get that job done. Only problem is that they usually got some trial crap going...
