Yep that's the POS. The lady next door has a cressdia that i was thinking about doing a swap into but i blew that idea off and just haven't pulled off cg yet. As you can see i have it way over priced.
got it going. it is running just a little rich but not to bad we hit 120 in a quarter today in it with no tune on it. So dumb ass question for the day is were is the j-tube? I know its got to be in the tank but whats the best way to bypass it or drill it out?

Ok iv been trying to get my buds car ready for the import face off here in okc.
whats been done
550 injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump (we didn't hollow out the j tube)
lex maf
greddy turbo that's supposedly is equal to a 60.1 trim
2.5 down piping with stock ic
safc will be wired in...
Really guys come on lol. You guys are bad. Tear the the head apart and take it to the machine shop. You might as well have it done the right way. if not i hope you have deep pockets.
Ya poodles whats up with that bro. LOL Ya 190 with a nice rad will work just fine as long as you have followed all the other correct steps to building your engine.
Blown rings bro. Start the car and take the oil cap off and see if alot of smoke comes out and smells like gas and oil. If QUITE driving it or even running it.
There was just a post on this prob about a month ago or so. Check your vsv valves to make sure they are hooked up ( i think that's what they are called) there are two under the intake one is for the egr valve and the other is for the fuel pressure regulator. They let the the boiling fuel bleed...
O so the 255 doesn't do any good with out drilling out the j-tube? I know they will run with one in because i have one in mine and didn't drill out the j-tube and it ran OK till my rings crapped out. Granted i do have 550s, Lexus maf, and neo.
Also check to see if when the car is at idle open the oil cap if a lot of smoke comes out and smells like oil & gas i wouldn't drive or run it any anymore man its blown rings.
LOL way to be nice Poodles. But to the op i swear this is the dumbest question i think iv ever seen posted. No there i thermostat in the oil cooler. But an upgrade is a great idea.:icon_razz
^NICE jj !!!
